Sugar daddy A successful, financially independent man who generously supports a younger partner. Sugar baby A younger person seeking the company and generous support of a successful partner. Sugar mommy A successful, independent woman who supports a younger partner (a sugar boy). Sugar boy A younger man seeking the company of a mature, successful woman (a sugar mommy). Allowance (monthly support) A fixed, regular monthly budget that both parties agree on. PPM (pay per meet) The "pay per meet" model: the parties agree on the budget for each meeting. Arrangement An open agreement between the parties about the terms and expectations of the relationship. NSA (no strings attached) "No strings attached": a casual relationship without long-term commitment. Salt daddy A man who poses as a sugar daddy but doesn't actually provide any support. Splenda daddy A budget sugar daddy who wants to provide support but has limited means. Sugar dating A form of dating where the parties meet openly, based on mutual benefits. Vanilla (traditional relationship) The term for a traditional, non-sugar date or relationship. Ghosting When someone suddenly cuts off all contact without any explanation. Catfish (fake profile) A false, deceptive profile — using someone else's photos or fake information. Verification (verified profile) A check confirming the profile is genuine, usually marked with a verified badge. Discretion Protecting your privacy: you decide who sees what about you, and when. Mentoring (mentorship) When the more experienced party helps the other with knowledge, connections, and advice. Meet & greet (first meeting) The first, no-obligation in-person meeting where the parties get to know each other.
